A Great Way to Give Back to the Camp Community
Volunteer Day is a day dedicated to addressing the many B&G projects on the property. After the winter season ends, we need your help getting the place ready for Summer Camp again! This is an excellent opportunity to get a lot of work done and have fun doing it!
We encourage you to bring your church group, youth group, classmates, friends, or family members of all ages for this day of service. Many different projects are available for all ages! Lunch will be provided!
Just let us know you're coming! Lunch is provided. We will also provide discount lodging! Check out the task list and schedule below.

Friday - May 1
1:00 PM Welcome & Devotions (Divide tasks and begin work)
3:30 PM Mid-afternoon snack
5:15 PM Complete Tasks
5:30 PM Dinner
Saturday - May 2
8:00 AM Overnight guests’ continental breakfast
8:30 AM Welcome & Devotions Divide tasks and begin work
10:00 AM Mid-morning snack
12:00 PM Lunch
3:00 PM Mid-afternoon snack
4:00 PM Complete Tasks & Departure
What to Bring
- Work gloves
- Safety glasses
- Ear protection
- Chainsaws/pole saws
- Limb saws and pruners
- Rakes
- Side by side or 4-wheeler and trailer for hauling wood chips/ logs
- Any other tool
Cost
- No cost for Lunch & Snacks- Thank you for your help!
- Freewill donation for private room stay

- Split and stack firewood.
- Trail Maintenance
- Cut down trees
- Stain or paint
- Grounds & landscaping cleaning
- Disperse picnic tables.
- Clean chairs.
- Camp Garden prep and planting.
