There's Always More to Learn!

The Middle School Retreat is so much fun! It's an excellent chance for campers to come hang out at Inspiration Hills for all of their favorite activities, PLUS some new activities special for the Autumn season!

Most importantly, this weekend's purpose is to draw kids closer in their relationship with the Lord and grow in friendships with other kids in their local Christian Community.

Q: Who are you?

A: His Workmanship!

This year's theme is taken from Ephesians 2:10:

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

We live in a world of identities. We identify ourselves by who we hang out with, how many likes we get on TikTok, the clothes we wear, or the sports we play. In short, we depend on either ourselves or the world around us to give us our identity, to tell us who we are.

This is a false reality that we live in. The reality is that identity comes from one place, our Creator. Join us for the Inspiration Hills Youth Retreats to answer the question "Who are you?" according to the God of the universe, rather than the things of this world.

Q: Who is our speaker?

A: Tanner Mans!

Our chaplain for the Middle School Retreat is Tanner Mans from Sioux Falls! Tanner serves as the youth pastor at First Evangelical Free Church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

He loves spending time with his wife, Katie, and their boys, Connor and Teddy. Tanner has a heart for Jesus and a love for teaching God’s Word.

In 2004, Tanner came to know Jesus as his personal Lord & Savior at Inspiration Hills. At camp, you can often find him in the game room playing the legendary game of carpet ball!
