Discovery camp is a 3-day/2-night camp often referred to as 'Disco' camp! This is a great way to discover what it’s like to stay overnight at camp.

This camp is designed for campers who are looking to try out an overnight camp for the first time.

Campers will spend their time playing games, exploring creation, studying God’s word, bonding with their bunk group, and more. Bring a friend and discover new adventures here at Inspiration Hills!

What to Expect

GETTING SETTLED IN

The first day of camp is a different experience for every Discovery camper. For some, excitement is high in anticipation of the adventure ahead, for others, it might be their first time away from home, and they are nervous! Their counselor's mission is to meet them where they're at, get to know them, and help them adjust to the new environment.

Day one of Discovery Camp typically includes chapel and worship, followed by games and activities.

After a long and exciting day, campers will hunker down for the night in our bunk room at the main lodge.

TIME FOR FUN!

On the second day of Discovery Camp, campers can look forward to another chapel and worship session. During this time, our counselors will help them process what they've been learning throughout the day with Bible study time.

Each camper will grow closer to their bunk group through the various team-building activities and their shared meal times.

In the afternoon, campers also get to experience OAT (open activity time). This is a free time in which campers can enjoy our various games and activities at their own pace. OAT activities include the pool, canteen, basketball and sand volleyball courts, slip n' slide, and much more.

The night ends with some of our most famous evening games, campfire worship, and smores.

PICK UP DAY!

The final day of Discovery Camp includes final chapel and time to pack up.

Parents and family members are invited to come and see their kids sing and dance to all the songs and recap all the lessons they've learned throughout the week!

We always encourage parents to ask their camper what they learned on the drive home after the week is over. After all, camp may be over, but their journey doesn't stop there!
