Inspiration Hills is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeping Manager who is passionate about our mission and enjoys creating clean, welcoming spaces for guests. This position offers potential for full-time employment and/or additional hours in the office.

Schedule:

Summer Hours (some flexibility)

Monday, Wednesday, Friday

9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Fall–Spring Hours (some flexibility)

Monday, Tuesday, Friday

9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Responsibilities:

The Housekeeping Manager will oversee both seasonal summer staff and year-round housekeeping staff while ensuring guest spaces are clean, organized, and ready for use.

• Supervising and supporting housekeeping staff
• Creating work schedules for themselves and housekeeping team members
• Coordinating cleaning schedules around facility and guest usage
• Managing housekeeping tasks includes: cleaning, decorating, stocking supplies, laundry, and guest space preparation
• Planning and scheduling annual and seasonal projects such as carpet cleaning and deep-cleaning tasks
• Using our guest reservation software to plan cleaning schedules and room readiness
• Collaborating with full-time staff when additional support is needed
• Participating in weekly year-round staff meetings

Housekeeping Staff

The position at a glance:

The Part-Time Kitchen Cook works alongside the Kitchen Manager to provide high-quality meals that help create an environment where people can know and grow in Christ. This position is responsible for cooking, baking, and assisting with the supervision of kitchen staff during assigned shifts. The Kitchen Manager provides training, scheduling, supervision, and food ordering, while the Part-Time Cook helps ensure meals are prepared safely, efficiently, and with excellence.

Schedule

Summer: Set weekday hours with additional weekend opportunities.

Fall–Spring: Primarily Saturdays, some Sundays, plus occasional weekday hours for meal preparation and food prep.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve quality meals for camps, retreats, and guest groups.

- Bake a variety of menu items as needed.

- Assist in supervising kitchen staff and volunteers during assigned shifts.

- Follow recipes, food safety guidelines, and sanitation standards.

- Assist with food preparation, serving, cleanup, and dishwashing.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.

- Monitor food quality and proper food storage.

- Work cooperatively with the Kitchen Manager and other staff to provide an excellent guest experience.

Qualifications:

-  Stand for extended periods of time.

- Lift, unload, and move food, supplies, dishes, and kitchen equipment.

- Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment, including electrical and mechanical appliances.

- Operate the dishwasher while maintaining proper sanitation and temperature standards.

- Determine the cleanliness of dishes, food-contact surfaces, and kitchen areas.

- Monitor the quality and condition of food products.

- Maintain appropriate kitchen inventory and assist with organization of supplies.

Part Time Kitchen Cook

The position at a glance:

Be a part-time cook in our kitchen! We are looking for a person with a servant's heart to assist our kitchen lead. Hours are flexible and dependent on the guest groups we have each week. Pay depends on experience.

Requirements:

- 16 years or older
